Angela Martin
Angela’s service as a board member of Hacienda is informed by a long career in non-profit advocacy and a proven track record in policy development, coalition building and communications strategy. She is an experienced campaign and coalition manager who understands how to build diverse and strategic coalitions as well as activate them for maximum effectiveness inside and outside the Capitol.
Angela is a skilled public speaker who has logged many hours appearing on local radio as a guest commentator and presented to audiences of all sizes. Her progressive credentials include leading a broad coalition of faith leaders and social service advocates in support of stronger consumer protection laws, and directing the successful passage of foreclosure reform as the Executive Director of Economic Fairness Oregon.
She lives in NE Portland with her partner Arielle Clark and their dog Cleo. Together they enjoy exploring Oregon’s backcountry and hidden treasures.

Mayra is the Chief Shared Prosperity Officer at the Port of Portland. As the lead for the Shared Prosperity Division, she manages a multidisciplinary team to execute policies, programs, and processes that ensure transparent and inclusive practices. Prior coming to the Port, Mayra worked at the Oregon Department of Education - Office of Enhancing Student Opportunities as Director of Resource Management and Operations. Before ODE, Mayra held leadership roles at Prosper Portland and United Way of the Columbia Willamette. In addition, Mayra is a current board member of the Regional Arts and Culture Council (RACC), and holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Portland State University. Mayra was born and raised in Mexico and came to the US as a young professional. She lives in Portland with her wife and two children.

Peter is the founder and family co-owner of Andina, the award-winning Peruvian eatery located in Portland’s Pearl District. Since opening its doors in 2003, Andina has grown to become the largest independently owned restaurant in Portland and the third-largest Hispanic owned business in Oregon. Now in transition to becoming a certified B-Corporation, Andina will continue to grow as a social enterprise supporting the creation of a more socially and environmentally responsible food value chain, both at home and in Peru. Peter recently graduated from the Yale School of Management with a concentration in social entrepreneurship. He also serves on the Board of the Oregon Food Bank.
