Join us at the 27th Annual Latino Home Fair!

The Latino Home Fair is a free one-day event to support first time homebuyers in Oregon as they work to achieve the stability, and generational wealth that homeownership provides. Attendees will learn about the home buying process in detail and how to prepare to buy a home and qualify for a mortgage. Registration is required!

Join us at Latino Home Fair, a fun and family-friendly resource fair designed to support and empower our community.

All workshops will be offered in English and Spanish.

When: Saturday, September 12th, 10AM-3PM

Where: PCC Cascade Gym. 600 N Killingsworth St, Portland, OR 97217

Time: Please see an anticipated day of schedule below: 

10:00- 11:00 AM -- Welcome, Resource Fair Opens, registration and Meet-and-Greet with community partners.

11:00 AM- 12:00 PM -- Homebuyer Education Session #1 (Concurrent English & Spanish)

12:00- 1:00 PM -- Lunch & continuation of resource fair

1:00- 2:00 PM -- Homebuyer Education Session #2 (Concurrent English & Spanish)

2:00- 3:00 PM -- Final opportunity for one-on-one conversations and program enrollment.

*Please note both sessions are open for attendance, and you can participate in either one.

• What is the homebuying class?

  You'll learn about key topics such as credit readiness, financial preparedness, mortgage readiness, ITIN lending, and the specific steps to become a Hacienda client.

  Each class will be led by a Hacienda Housing Advisor, with insights from a Lender representative and a realtor. After the session, you'll have the chance to ask our team any questions you may have about your homebuying journey

• Will Food and Child Care be Provided?

  Yes! Child care will be available for children aged 5 to 10 while you attend the homebuying class.

  We’ll also be serving a light lunch for all Homebuying class attendees and their guests, ensuring you enjoy a delicious treat during the event.

• When Should I arrive to the event?

  We highly encourage you to pre-register for the event and to arrive at least 15 minutes early. This will give you ample time to park, drop off your children at childcare, and explore the resource tables featuring various homeownership providers.

• Where is parking?

  There will be FREE parking available at:

  PCC Cascade Parking Lot 1; 701 N Jessup St, Portland, OR 97217 Should the lot be full there is also street parking available.
