Build Your Future in Construction and Homeownership

Hacienda Community Development Corporation invites community members in the construction sector—or those interested in entering the field—to participate in a FREE mass timber construction and homeownership workforce training program. The program helps participants build skills, access job opportunities, and prepare for future homeownership

This FREE program is offered through a collaboration between Hacienda CDC, UnidosUS, and Bank of America as part of the Pathways to Advancement through Skills, Homeownership and Support (PASOS) program.

What You Will Gain

  • Basics of mass timber construction

Who Should Apply

  • 18 years or older

  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • Interested in a career in housing construction or homebuilding

  • Can participate in training conducted in English

  • Basic computer skills, and commitment to the full program

Program Cost

Pogram Start Date: August 25, 2026

Program Duration: August— December 2026

  • 6 asynchronous video modules (2.5 hours)

    • Complete at your own pace.

  • 16 live online sessions (24.5 hours) Covering:

    • Course Introduction

    • Essential Workplace Skills in Construction

    • Path to Homeownership

    • Resources, Support & Goal Setting

  • Delivered via Google Meet (Link will be sent upon registration)

  • Led by industry experts

  • Conducted in English
