Overview

Through a variety of programs, including micro-enterprise development, small business training, adult education, and workforce development  programs, Hacienda CDC’s Community Economic Development Department aims to make a long-term impact by increasing the income and assets of Hacienda residents and other community members.

This project links participants to training and career opportunities in the growing green sector of our economy. Training opportunities include weatherization, energy auditing, solar panel installation, green construction, green cleaning, and many others. Through microenterprise development, Hacienda promotes the self-sufficiency, creativity and viability of immigrant women, their families and the local community.
