Expresiones hits the slopes, literally

On Saturday, youth from Hacienda’s Expresiones program, in a partnership with the Snowdays Foundation, tried their hand, or feet, at snowboarding. The beginners slipped, slid, tumbled and eventually zoomed down the slopes with the assistance of enthusiastic instructors and lots of practice. Here is a video to prove it.
In addition to instruction, Snowdays provided breakfast, lunch, warm gear, equipment and transportation to make for a successful day. More students can look forward to another chance to hit the slopes in the upcoming months.
