Rose has been actively involved in real estate development since early 1994, where she began to develop special needs housing for Mt. Hood Mental Health Center, which eventually merged into Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare. In 2006 she took a two year break away from the non-profit world to start a professional real estate business assisting individuals, investors, and non-profits buy and sell real estate. Rose especially enjoyed working with first time, Latino homebuyers and even served as a volunteer in the early years of Hacienda’s Latino home buying fair. In 2008 Rose began working with CASA of Oregon where she helped to expand an innovative affordable housing program, the Manufactured Housing and Cooperative Development Program, an affiliate program of the national ROC USA® model. She also helped preserve existing Farm Labor and other affordable housing throughout rural Oregon. Rose brings more than 23 years in the real estate industry as developer, property manager and broker. She holds a BA from Linfield College and maintains an active real estate license in Oregon. She enjoys our beautiful Oregon landscape, art, films and spending quality time with her husband and two rescue dogs.

Gena first joined Hacienda in March 2014 as the Staff Accountant, eventually earning a promotion to Senior Accountant. In her role as Senior Accountant she worked closely with the Asset Management team to manage the financial performance of our properties. This experience readied her to take over as Asset Manager in 2016 when the position became available. Gena is thrilled to work with an organization that is so passionate about and committed to the community that it serves, and she enjoys the challenges and opportunities that asset management offers.
