Cully is Oregon's most diverse neighborhood

There is a lot of interesting data coming out of the 2010 Census lately.  Take a look at this blog post from the Oregon Housing Blog. USA Today just released updated numbers for its Diversity Index, which predicts the probability that 2 randomly selected people from the same census track will be of different racial/ethnic backgrounds.  The data reveals that Cully neighborhood (census tracks 74, 75, and 76) is the most diverse neighborhood in the entire state of Oregon!  Not only that, Cully's diversity index score was an impressive 83% higher than the state average.  With the bulk of Hacienda's housing communities located in Cully, we love being part of such a vibrant, dynamic community.  Portland often has the reputation of being racially homogeneous, but it is important to remember that the city is already home to great diversity if you know where to look!
