Vamos Kids Club

 

Our afterschool program serves first- through fifth-grade students residing at Hacienda CDC properties. Vamos is designed to increase family involvement, attendance at school, school performance and reports of a positive school experience. It provides a pipeline for continued support through middle school, reducing youth risk factors they are likely to face as they begin adolescence, such as gang involvement, dropping out of school and drug and alcohol use. During the summer, students will participate in daily summer enrichment activities both on- and off-site through our partnerships with Portland Art Museum, Audubon Society, Tryon Park and Boy Scouts.
